We had a fun spring break this year!! It started off with having my Aunt Sylvia and Unlce Fred come out for a few days and stay with us! It was so fun to have them here. I love them so much and miss seeing them all the time. We mostly just hung out and took it easy. My aunt Sylvia kept saying "oh were fine doing nothing, we like to do nothing"" Kailie loved having them here and kept calling them Grandma and Grandpa. It was pretty funny! I left early one morning to take Jared to the airport for his humanity mission trip and Sylvia stayed with the kids. McKean woke up and he would not let her take him out of the crib, he would back up every time she came near but then he would cry if she would leave the room. Such a silly boy! We did get in good game of Rook which is always our favorite.
The First day of Spring Break, Kai had been dying and asking to walk up to the elementary school by our house and pick flowers. Every day we drive by it and she always mentions it. So off we went. She just happened to have her hair braided that day which turned out to be the perfect place to put all of the little flowers she picked along the way. I guess that is one good thing about all the annoying weeds in the grass here, they produce these really cute little flowers that she loves to pick.
In front of the school there was tons of dandelions. She has so much fun picking all of them and giving them to McKean. Who was there, sitting in his stroller eating his lunch. He had a yogurt and forgot to bring wipes. It was all over him, so he had to stay in the stroller the whole time. When we got home he was covered in dry crusty yogurt mixed with dandelions. He loves dandelions and his sister loves to pick them and bring them to him.
We called her hair Rapunzel hair She loved and was so concerned the whole walk that her flowers were going to fall out or blow away in the wind!!
We went to Sea World one day and it was INSANE, so crowded it took forever just to get in. We also went to the water park one night. The air was in the 80's but the water was super cold. The girlies had fun playing in it, McKean had no interest in getting in the cold water so I thankfully got to chill with him on the side.
Andrea and I decided to try out this park called Morgan's Wonderland. It was designed for kids with a handicap but our kids loved it too. The playgrounds were so much fun and made me miss our fun playground in New York that we went to all the time.
These slides were a huge hit with all the kids. The rings turn as you go down. It was fun!
The sea saw was pretty fun too.
I love seeing these guys having so much fun. They love playground and sadly we don't get to go to them that often here. They were in Heaven!
Such Cuties!
Kailie makes her way across the roller course!
We waited in a long line to go on a car ride. The kids loved it and at least they had this play car to play in while they waited.
McKean and Madi all strapped in and ready for the Merry-go-round.
Kai tries her hand at horse back riding bare back style.
This spinning chairs were by far Kai and Brinleys favorite thing to play on.
These slides were his. He would go down and then run back over to this step climb up and go right back down again!
The poor kid had a black eye from falling and hitting his face on the edge of our bath tub. He always has some sort of bruise on him!
The mini grocery store is always a huge favorite. Kean just loved taking EVERYTHING off the shelves!!
On our last day of spring break we decided to head over to the duck pond. So funny because we ran into the Kecks, they were just leaving as we were coming. We must think a like!!
The ducks were not very hungry but they did gobble up most of our pancakes that we brought!
I also got my garden box that I won at our ward auction built and put into place. So excited to see if anything actually grows!
It was a pretty fun spring break. We were sad that Daddy was gone the whole time!
