Various October Fun!

We had lots of random fun times in October. Brinley helping Kailie check her blood Sugar. It is so cute and makes me so happy that Kailie has a best friend who is so supportive of her diabetes. Just hate that they won't get to grow up together. 

We went to a birthday party at Chuk E Cheese. I haven't been there since I was a kid. It was fun! 

Powerhouse had a fun Saturday fundraiser day. We went to support them since they are so kind and helpful with Kailie. We got to play inside for awhile! Kailie shows off her skills on the bar! 

Then we got our face painted!

The girls were most excited for the chance to pie the Coach. They thought it was the best thing ever, Coach Joe was such a trooper!

We were driving home from somewhere and this kid fell asleep with the phone up to his ear like this!! So adorable!

We got to participate in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes! The Keck's and the Barricks joined us. It was fun low-key and we got to walk around Sea world!

Best Friends! The cutest thing was the day before the walk Brinley said the prayer and prayed that after the walk Kailie wouldn't have to have Diabetes any more. So sweet. Then our little stinker Kailie was so upset, she kept saying that she wants to have Diabetes. She doesn't want it to go away!! Well at least she has a good attitude about it!! 

We made it to the end! 

I took McKean in for his first professional hair cut. I was worried he would be crazy but he was awesome. He just sat there and seemed to really enjoy it ! The hairstylists was amazed how good he was! Looking handsome little guy! 

McKean started to ride the big boy bike! He can't pedal he just pushes with his feet on the ground but he loves it! 

The girls all hitch a ride with Daddy around the circle!

Little buddy turns 2

This little buddy turned two. I can't believe he is already two. Time is just flying by! We just did a low key dinner/party for him with a few of our close friends. I was trying to think of what to put on his cake or a theme for him and the kid is not really into anything. He doesn't know anything about characters. He has never sat down and watched a TV show or movie. He isn't really obsessed with anything except a few things. His Binky, cars, balls, and food. The kid eats like a machine. So I made him a Binky and ball cake decorated with none else than Hershey kisses. 

Kailie helped me put on all the Hershey kisses and decorate the cake with frosting. She was so excited to get to help!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sweet McKean! 

Our favorites about this kid:

Patty cake: he loves to play patty cake. He still can't get the rolling so it is so adorable to watch him try. 

No: has definitely become a favorite word. 

Ya: He says ya a lot instead of yes!

Pi-ya: Pizza, he loves to eat pizza or piya as he calls it! 

Cuddles: He is definitely a cuddle bug especially at night when we are rocking him for bed but when he is done he tells us I go crib.

Monkey Man: He will forever be our little monkey man. From his funny crawl to him climbing on everything! 

Elbow: He hasn't quite figured out where his elbow is yet but if you ask him where it is he always says Elbow. He knows where quite of a few of the rest of his body parts are! 

Drama Kean: He is definitely our little drama queen or Kean as we call him. Super emotional and gets his feelings hurt just if you look at him the wrong way! 

 Jump: the kid loves to jump. Trampolines, our couch, beds you name it he is jumping on it! 

Cole: He absolutely loved his cousin Cole this summer and wanted to play with him all the time, he also loved Abby and learned both their names. 

Monster: He loves to play monster with Daddy. Where Daddy chases him and then once he is caught Daddy throws him on the bed or the couch. 

Poop: He is the poop king. 3-7 times daily. Uggh seriously kid, I could do with out this one!

Shoe:???

Out-tide: He loves to play outside and if Kailie is out there he just stands at the door and says out-tide.

 Hummus: Or Hummy as he calls it is a staple around here. He eats by the spoonful nothing like a bowl full of hummy!!

Dance: the kid loves to dance. Any of the toys we have that play music he is obsessed with. Kai's teapot, the telephone toy! 

Climb: the kid loves to climb!

Kiss: He still give his big open mouth slobbery kisses. It is adorable and slobbery all at the same time!

Car: Cars have been one of his favorites since the beginning!

Balls: He loves to play with balls, doesn't matter the size or shape he loves them all

Binky: Is hands down his favorite thing. Not really sure how we are going to break him of it!

My sweet little 2 year old. Please stay sweet and don't turn into a terrible 2 year old!

Present time! 

He was totally overwhelmed by all of the kids trying to help him and he had no clue what was going on. We got him a camera because he loves to take photos with mine and is always wanting to play with mine. He also got a fly swatter which is funny but he loves our fly swatter and I hate him playing with our yucky one!

He got a Mickey Mouse fire station from Papa and Nana Gardner!

And his big present was a basketball hoop. Which he loves and is getting really good at!
