We got to home to Utah for a very Special event, Katelyn our oldest nieces wedding. It was fun to go home in May, we haven't been to Utah in the spring for a long time. It was beautiful with all the blossoms in bloom. We got there Tuesday and the flu was going through the whole Theler family so we wanted to stay away from them as much as we could before the wedding. We headed up to Deweyville one night to go to Crystal Hot Springs to see if the water would help Jared's psoriasis. The kids loved it, it was a little chilly and so the warm water was perfect. Kailie loved the big slide. I remember back when these slides were built when I was a kid and going there with the youth from our ward. So fun that now my kids to get do some of the same things we did!
This pool was the favorite, it was the warmest of the pools besides the super hot tubs.
I so wish I could have gotten in too.
Enjoying dusk in the water!! We then headed up to Aunt Judy and Uncle J.R.'s house for the night. I really love their house, it is so peaceful. The next morning we headed over to Logan for Jared to meet with a potential business he was wanting to invest in.
The kids and I drove around Utah State's campus and I showed them my old dorm and the campus not that they really understand. Kai was so cute, she was saying how she didn't want to not live with me and wanted to live with me forever. Oh I so wish she could and that she will still feel that way when she is a teenager!
Then we headed over to the beautiful Logan Temple to see and get a photo with Kean in it of this amazing Temple.
The Tulips were so beautiful. We don't get many of those here in Texas!
Kai needed to use the restroom so we headed inside. They had this adorable little kids toilet so McKean just had to go too. No he is not potty trained but he should be because he loves to go on the potty!
We went to the dentist and the kids loved and were fascinated with them working on me!
Then it was Kai's turn. She did awesome as usual and had perfect teeth.
Then Kean took a turn. They just wanted to get him use to it. They didn't do too much on him but he was still cute!
We went out to dinner with most of the Theler family. All the kids sat together. While we were waiting for everyone to get there, Jared and I looked up Baby names and decided on Gabriel or Brigham. Brielle or Evelyn. Honestly Brielle Leona is the name that I have felt good about since it first came to me in the temple when we were doing Sealing with my family. I guess we will have to wait and see what this little on is!
Since most everyone was sick up at Grandma and Grandpa Theler's house we decided to stay a few nights with James and Marissa. It was fun to spend more time with them. These cousins got to have a sleep over two nights in a row. They were so excited, I don't think they ever actually fell asleep all together so eventually Elyse went back up to her room!
Katelyn and Jackson's wedding was on Friday May 2nd. It was a beautiful ceremony. It was really special to be there with all of Jared's family. The kids made some cute signs to welcome the Newlyweds as they came out of the temple.
I love all of my nieces and nephews and am so grateful for the example that they set for my kids who look up to all of them!
I also love my cute little family!
Hard to believe last time we were in this temple for a Sealing was our own 7 1/2 years ago.
Craziness, seems like yesterday!
The kids did not want any more photos!
After the temple ceremony we grabbed a quick lunch and the all the girls headed over to the reception hall to help set up and decorate. It was a lot of work but so fun to work together with my awesome Sister in-laws. My feet were getting pretty swollen from being on them all day.
Everyone waiting for
The kids table.
Silly kids!
Kate and Jackson had a photo booth, it was so much fun. Kai loved, Kean really had no clue what was going on most of the time! The photos all turned out awesome!
After the ceremony and dinner it was party time. The Theler's definitely know how to party it up and dance like crazy! Kai, Elyse and Sophie all dancing together.
This girl was in awe of Katelyn. This was her first wedding she has been to since she has been old enough to understand. All day she was mesmerized by Kate and felt like it was truly like a fairytale wedding! She kept talking about how beautiful Kate was and how she wanted to be just like her. I am so thankful for Kate and the example her and Jackson have set for both of my kids.
McKean as super tired and a little grumpy during the dancing. It was really late for him!
Kai could have danced all night long!
She was in Heaven!
Jack was super tired too! Poor little boys!
Kean was not having it!
Daddy showing Kai how to dance!
Kean with his favorite girl Abby. Even Abby couldn't get him to smile. He sure loves her and talks about her all the time!
The the line dance came on and Kean came to life, he loved it!! I guess he is a line dancer just like his Momma!
This video is sideways bummer but so funny anyways!
Taking a break with Grandpa. We were so excited that they were able to come home for the Wedding. It was great to see them!
Kean is notorious for covering up eyes while sitting on people's shoulders. Don't know why but that is always right where he puts his hands! I guess there is more grip there! He is funny!
Kai and McKayla take a break. The next day these two were both throwing up. Poor things!
Elder and Sister Theler watch on as everyone dances. Kean loves his grandparents!
Kean also loves basketball. Daddy helps him make a few shots!
We didn't get to spend too much time with my family, since we were there just a week and went to Logan and then all the wedding stuff. But the kids had fun following Papa all around which is what they always do. Papa's field had tons of Dandelions to blow. They were in heaven.
Kean kept missing his chance to blow it because the wind was strong and beat him to it almost every time!
He loves those cowboy boots. I guess he truly is a Texan!
Kai loves her dandelions and ran around collecting as many as possible.
Even Papa joined in the action.
It was a such a special trip and we were so thankful we got to be there to witness this wedding and for our kids to experience it!
