Our good friends Megan and Steve Serra were getting ready to move. We were so sad because they have become such good friends over this past year. Their little boy Parker is McKean and Madi's little buddy. We tried to hang out as much as possible before they moved. Their move date kept getting pushed back so they were here longer than expected.
All the kids enjoying one of our dinner's together!
Justin had this remote controlled something that the kids had fun chasing around the yard!
Happy Birthday Madi. Madi turned 3 and we were so glad to celebrate with her.
The gift we give every 3 year-old Bubbles.
They are always a hit!
Jared left for a quick trip to Utah to check out some land he wanted to buy up the canyon. It is beautiful, right in between Park City, Heber and Big Cottonwood.
The view from the property!
Some friends from the Alamo Ranch ward put together a summer outing group. One of them was to go to this farm and pick Peaches. It was fun and beautiful and the peaches were amazing.
The trees were small enough that the kids could reach them.
Scouting for the best Yellow peaches.
Having a picnic with some friends afterwards. Melissa Moss and Megan Mansfield.
I was having contractions this whole week so I thought this would be our last outing before the baby came.
The next outing we went to was the Fire Station. This was after Gabriella's passing and it was our first real outing out after it. Everyone there was so kind and kept giving me hugs. I am sure the firefighters were wondering what was going on.
I thought McKean would love this since he loves trucks but he didn't really care to much about it. Kailie loved it though. We learned about all the different trucks they have and how they use them.
The kids got to climb in the the big one and put on the hat.
Kean was too fond of the hat!
One of the fireman got all dressed up to show the kids that they aren't scary and teach them if they ever see them coming in to help them to not be afraid.
They had this cute little dog, a dalmatian of course and I pretty sure he name was spot!
My awesome kiddos in front of the big fire truck. It was really good to go, I am glad that I did the kids needed to get out of the house. Kailie always asks me every night when she is going to bed what we are doing the next day. After Gabriella died she asked me why we never go anywhere and then said "is is because we need to be here to get all the flowers when they come." Oh she is so cute.
