Kailie and I were the first ones there so we set up camp on the lawn and just enjoyed the nice weather.

Finally Kailie's buddy Brinley showed up and they had a fun time enjoying rice rusks for the first time! yummy!

Then we decided to move closer to the water, this was the beginning of our pioneer trek!
After we ate some grub, we were told by the firework dudes that we had to move further away.

So away we went, all the babies plus lots of other stuff. As soon as we got settled in, the dudes came over and told us we needed to move again.

So onto our next location, this is our whole gang, yep lots of babies and lots of stuff!
After we got all nice and cozy here the dudes came over again and were like, not far enough, you need to move just a little bit further.

So off we went to yet again a new camp, this was our 4th time moving in about 20 min.

Here we are all nice and set up at our final camp place, I guess this wold represent Utah if it were a real pioneer trek.

This picture is just hilarious! I just can't help but think of the night attack scene in Jaws, good thing this wasn't the real ocean! This poor girl was terrified once the fireworks started, they were soooo loud, and really close!

Jared, the ear doctor trying to protect poor Kai's ears from the noise. It seriously was the loudest fireworks I have ever heard, mainly because they were so close and then there are tall buildings all around so the sound echo's off of them! Kai still loved it though, in fact all the babies liked it.
All in all it was a great pioneer day even though we had to trek to enjoy it!
