We had a fun time at Lake Powell this year. Of course it would have been way more fun if Daddy was there with us! He couldn't come due to taking the young men to Lake Powell a few weeks later. Lets just say taking two little kids by yourself is definitely not what I would call a nice relaxing vacation but for the kids it was!
There was a lot of playing in the sand all week.

I thought McKean would be big enough to wear the bigger jacket without the back neck thing but boy was I wrong when he first got in the water with it, it pushed him straight face down and he wasn't strong enough to flip himself over. It scared him to death and he was scared to get in the water after that. I was freaking out because I didn't bring his other life jacket but thankfully Jenn had one.
This was the trip of moving. We moved 3 different times and each time it took forever even though we just moved right next to each other!

It was fun to be there with Jenn. We were both the single moms down there and it was stressful.
Carly, Devin and Daxton Rose. This family just really touched my heart. The things the have to deal with and struggle with with Dax just really makes you appreciative of the things you do have.
They are amazing people!
