Christmas!!

On Christmas Eve we delivered our presents to the kids at the group home and then just hung out together as a family. The kids got to open their Christmas Jammie's. They were so excited to have matching elf Jammie's.
Showing off her new Jammie's!

We hadn't told any of our friends or family yet that we were pregnant and so we wanted to take a cute photo to send out to everyone announcing it. We borrowed the Keck's little elf shoes to represent the baby.
And then took a bazillion photos trying to figure out which looked the best.

The next day after we had told my parents, Jared's parents already knew. We sent out a photo text saying Elves 1, 2 and soon to be 3 wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
They were good sports for taking photos.
Then we read the Christmas story and ate our Chocolate Nativity as we read about each person.

McKean eats Baby Jesus!
Then we also read The Night Before Christmas and then it was off to bed.
Santa came that night and dropped off a few goodies. A new bike for Kai Kai with Buddy riding along to ensure the kids received their gifts okay and to bring a note from Santa telling the kids the true meaning of Christmas.
McKean got a Lawn Mower!

Mommy snuck up in the night time to get some fun photos of the gifts Santa brought!

The next morning the kids were all excited, well Kailie was. McKean still had no clue what was going on!
Waiting patiently to go see what Santa brought for them!

Morning kisses and laughter!

Somebody was really excited!

Kailie was so excited to get a new bike. She has really outgrown the one she had. She also got a princess dress.

McKean was so into his lawn mower he was over pushing it all around before the rest of us even got down stairs.

McKean loved his train Lego set from Grandma and Grandpa Theler.
After breakfast we headed outside to ride the new bike.
She did really good, I was worried that it would be a little too big for her but she could ride it!

McKean now wanted to ride Kailie's old bike!

Daddy showing him how to pedal.

Then we packed up and headed to the airport and flew to Utah. The kids insisted on wearing their Jammie's while flying so when we got to Utah they were still in them. First stop, Papa and Nana Gardner's house. They have all sorts of fun talking, moving stuffed animals around their house. This kid's goal was to get them all going at once.
Rocking around to the Christmas music!

Then we opened up gifts!

And of course we had to play Everyone's favorite the Button Game with Papa!
The kids were excited and got some fun toys that we left there so they can play with them every time we are in town! It was a great Christmas Day. Traveling wasn't too crazy and it was nice to be with Family. The next day Jared flew out with his Dad and brother's to go the BYU bowl game in San Fransisco.
