We decided to do a family camp out night! It was a beautiful, perfect night to camp in Texas. Perfect temps, not too cold but cold enough to want to sit by a fire.
The kids loved just playing in the tent.
And on the blow-up mattress.
After we got camp set up we went to the little playground they have at the campsite. Kean trying to be like his big Sister and hang on the bar.
We camped at Guadalupe State Park so we hiked down to the river to check it out. There was a father with his young toddler son there fishing. They let the kids take a turn fishing.
Kailie loved casting it and then just reeling it back in and let's be honest that is the best part about fishing!
The night was so beautiful, we all slept pretty good. I was thankful I didn't have to pee too much at night being pregnant. We had fun doing a fire even though it took our dear eagle scout Daddy about an hour to get it started. All the wood and kindling were just a little wet. We made s'mores and then pretty much all crashed at the same time. The next morning we were just finishing our pancakes when it started raining, just enough to get the tent all wet. As we starting driving home it down poured so hard. So grateful we didn't get caught in it. This was our first just our little family camp out. It was fun and a great success.
We went to artworks studio one day. This is the only photo I took. McKean loves painting the big paintings!
Is that McKean or a little girl.
Kailie got her hand on this man and did a makeover on him. He thought it was hilarious. I am sure he will get her back at some point. This girls needs a little sister!
So cute, love my little man!
We had our friends the Crosby's over. They used to live a couple houses down and then bought a house in a different ward and then found a job in Wyoming so we had the kids over one last time to play!
Kailie really loved playing with these girls. Caira, Naiah, and Keiran!
They got all dressed up and then did a little show for me! We are going to miss them!
We finally decided to get Kailie on an insulin pump. We had her pump training all set for this day so we thought this would be her last day to get shots. She was excited especially not to have to get her Lantus shot anymore which hurt her! Jared ended up not being able to make it so we had to postpone the training till May. It was probably a blessing because we were traveling so much over the next 8 weeks that it would have been a little crazy trying to figure out the pump while traveling!
This little stinker started to get a lose tooth. It seriously made me so sad!! It was the first step of her losing her little girliness. She is only 5. Thankfully, it was a slow wiggly tooth and did not come out for a few months! The weird thing is, her new tooth was already starting to come in before her baby tooth was even loose. Crazy! This girl knows how to grow teeth. Oh I love her sweet baby teeth they are so perfect!
She loves umbrella's and wanted loves to play out in the rain with them.
We went up one evening up to Murnin Elementary school which will soon be Kai's school and played on the kindergarten playground.
Kean takes a crack at trying to climb up it!
He made it!
Trying to hang like Big Sister!
Kai Kai shows off all her Gymnastics skills she has been learning at gymnastics!
We got out the paint and painted some bird houses to hang up!
The funnest part was washing off and playing in the sink!
Playing with our good friend Parker!
Love these three little 2 year olds.
McKean hates to wear pants and pretty much refuses to wear them after his nap. This day after church he looked so funny I just had to take some photos.
Silly little boy!!
Love him!
