Eight is Great-plus three

Little miss Kai Kai has yet another milestone. Eight months! She has learned a lot this past month, and has had a lot of change. She has learned or done eight new things
1- Sitting, She has finally mastered sitting, she isn't totally pro yet but is getting there. She just can't get herself to the seated position by herself.

2. She had her first 4th of July, she loved all of it, the fun glowing things to the amazing fireworks in the sky.

3-She had her first full day without her mommy in fact she had two entire days! I think this was more sad for me than her.

4- She got to spend three whole days entirely with her grandparents- such a treat for her!


5-We started mommy and me swim lessons, the first day she was like oblivious to the water but the second time she loved it. She was splashing and playing around and she is so good at being dunked, she has never cried even though the water is pretty cold. She is also the youngest in the class by months, everyone else is like 10 months to 3 years so she is way small but so good!

6-Of course we had another Aloha Oe, this time to our dear neighbors and good friends Jon and Amy Robistchek. Jon was Jared's Chief the past year and surfing buddy. We miss them so much, they were so much fun and such good people. We are all alone now in our complex, Jon and Amy were the only people that we knew, so it is really lonely.

7- New Smile-When we got home from Kauai I noticed that she had a new smile which is probably from having two new pokey things in her mouth, but it seemed like she was trying to show-off her new teeth, pretty funny!

8- And last but not least, she got Three new teeth. We went to Kauai with a toothless baby and came home to two tooth baby and then today on her eighth month b-day she popped her first top tooth out, I am not too excited about that one, her comes the biting.

Most of all we just love this little squirt so much and find so much Joy in having her in our lives!
Happy 8 months of life, baby Kai Kai, we love you!
