Aloha!

Sunday we went to church at our old ward Halawa. It was bittersweet to be there. So sweet to see everyone still there. When we walked in our old Bishop Mariteragi was sitting on the stage and his face just lit up when he saw us walk in. It was so fun to catch up with everyone. The Jungs, Prices, Taylors, Blairs, Bailegereon, Terry's, etc. There was to many to remember but it was also sad to see how much the ward has changed.
After church we headed to the Redd's house for some lunch. And Kris dotted on McKean. Cameo who I have no photos of which makes me so sad figured out that McKean would laugh every time she fake laughed to him. It was cute!
Kai and Morgan had a blast together as usual.

Our last couple of days there we got to  spend some time with the Mahoney's, Vigils and the Barnum's. We love all of these families. The Mahoney's met up with us for dinner at our favorite restaurant on all of Oahu, Haliewa Joe's. It was delicious as always.
The boys with our newest additions.
 Kai and Jackson throwing rocks!

We met up with the Vigils for a quick lunch.

Cherie made us these beautiful leis.

 McKean receiving his first Lei!

It was great to see everyone. We are so sad that when we go back in a few weeks that the Redd's and the Vigils won't be there anymore.

On our last day there, we said goodbye to our beautiful cabin on the beach and headed to town where Jared did one last surf session with Mike and Cameo. Probably the last time they will ever get to surf together. Boo, that makes me sad!
Meanwhile, the kids and I headed over the Ala Moana Beach park to play one last time in the ocean.

Kai's photo of us. She is a natural photographer don't you think?
Love the natural hair cropping the photo!
This was Kean's first time in the ocean so I wanted to document it but since my little helper (see above photo) wasn't helping much this was the best I got.

Our feet!

Enjoying our natural pedicures!
Sleeping sweetheart!

Kai had fun at least until she pooped in the water. Yes you heard me right.
Little stinker. We left after that!!

We went and picked up Jared from Surfing and then had a quick dinner with the Redd's!

There are just some people that touch your life and make you want to be better and that would be the Redd family. They are so amazing. Mike and Cameo have such a great close relationship together and with their kids. We miss them so so much!
All the kiddos: Jordyn, Steve, Kai, Morgan, Kris and McKean.
Then it was off to the airport to catch our overnight flight back to San Antonio. The flight back was much much better.
It was such a great trip. So good for us as a family just to have time to enjoy each other and be away from it all.
